Ever since I first sat down at a drum kit, I knew it was what I wanted to do with my life. Born in Perth, my journey with drums began at a young age and has been a constant source of joy and inspiration. Moving to Melbourne was a pivotal decision, allowing me to build a professional music career as a session and live performance drummer, as well as a dedicated drum teacher.

My love for drumming started with my first band’s EP in high school. Hearing my own music for the first time was an unforgettable thrill, sparking a lifelong passion for the recording process. This led me to study music production at TAFE, where I honed my skills and developed a deep appreciation for the art of recording.

With over 15 years of performing professionally across Australia at festivals, gigs, and private concerts, I bring energy, creativity, and professionalism to every stage. Whether it’s Rock, Pop, Punk, Soul, Folk, Funk, or Jazz, I deliver powerful, creative drumming that always plays for the song. My easygoing nature, reliability, and hardworking attitude make me a joy to work with. Equipped with top-notch gear and transport, I’m always ready to bring the perfect beat to any live performance.

Recording drums is one of my greatest passions. From recreating programmed drum tracks with a more dynamic, human touch to crafting fresh, original drum parts for new songs, I love the collaborative process of making music come alive in the studio. My flexible and versatile approach ensures that each project is unique and tailored to the artist’s vision.

As a drum teacher, I aim to share my passion for music with students of all ages and skill levels. My lessons are personalized to fit each student’s learning style, ability, and experience. Beyond drumming, I provide life coaching, practice schedule guidance, and support for mental health and wellbeing. My goal is to help students grow not only as drummers but also as individuals.

Influenced by bands and drummers such as Paramore, Foo Fighters, Green Day, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Blink-182, Led Zeppelin, Stan Bicknell, Benny Greb, Lionel Lewis, and Aaron Spears, my style is a blend of energy, technique, and passion. I integrate music into every aspect of my life and strive to inspire others to do the same.

I’m easygoing, passionate, and professional. I love to laugh, but music always comes first. Whether I’m teaching, recording, or performing live, my commitment to excellence and my love for drumming shine through. I have a working with children check and have taught everyone from young kids to mature age drummers and everyone in between.

If you’re looking for a dynamic and reliable drummer to elevate your live performances, a skilled session drummer for your next recording project, or a dedicated drum teacher to guide you on your musical journey, I would love to connect with you. Let’s make your next live performance, recording session, or drum lesson unforgettable! Reach out today and let’s bring your musical vision to life.

Lots of footage to sort through from last week's @thebluestrain gig with Ingird, but here's a little bit of a solo section from the end of "Last Train Blues" which we HAD to play, a blues about a train on the blues train? Damn.
@ingridandtheministers studio session on Friday was sick! Here's a little sneak peek of the solo section (drums only) from a pretty clean take.. no idea if this is the one we used 🤷‍♂️ Enjoy x
